Dear Leslie, I still vividly recall sitting by Mama at women’s “circle meeting”, or Bible study, before I started school. She always held my hand during the group reciting of the Lord’s Prayer. Over 5 decades later, whenever I pray it aloud I hear Mama’s voice and South Georgia pronunciations come from my lips. God blessed me with a praying Mama then, and a sweet communion with her now. Thanks for this important reminder.
